The Handtmann Group is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation globally and we are complying with regularly updated national guidance and monitoring the changing local conditions at our offices and with our field staffs in the United States and Canada.

The protection of our Handtmann employees and ensuring business continuity for our customers remain our priorities. So, we continue adapting with the changing circumstances.

For example, we are meeting customer service requests while adjusting to travel restrictions and minimizing air travel by scheduling field technicians so their assignments can be reached in a timely manner by car. That is working smoothly.

Also, our parts departments at Handtmann Inc. and Handtmann Canada Limited continue working closely across the border to closely monitor parts inventories and ensure we have parts on hand for both of our customer bases. Handtmann Germany remains in continuous contact with us about parts availability and they remain prepared to proceed without interruption as well.

For customers who may find using online ordering safer and easier, HPARTS, our 24/7 on-line parts ordering capabilities in the United States and Canada are fully functional.

Canada’s chief public health officer, a number of provincial officials, state governors and many city officials in the United States have announced ‘stay at home’ policies and orders. A growing list of states in the USA have now also issued executive orders to shut down non-essential businesses.

As an essential business needed to support our customers in the food and agriculture supply chain throughout this emergency, we have taken proactive measures to ensure service continuity in these conditions. We are reducing the risk of exposure by implementing skeleton crews in all departments at the offices and we have set up home office availability for all support personnel, so they are available to help immediately when needed.

We are here to support you for the duration. Please feel free to contact our office with any questions or special circumstances that may need our attention.
